Our Afternoon at the Playground

We recently discovered a great playground in town. Ever since, she asks to go to the playground every day. As you can see, she has a blast! This park is bigger than the others we've been to, and the part that she uses is really geared more for older kids - but that doesn't slow her down!

She's all about the slides at this park.

Here, she's on the stairs that lead to the two-story slide, her favorite (and mine, too).

She loves to watch the bigger kids play, then do exactly what they do. Climb up the big ladder? No problem, mom!

I just love this one. :)

Summer Vacation 2008

We spent a week "up North" in Minoqua, WI. Nana and Papa S. have a beautiful home on a lake in the woods - the perfect spot for a relaxing vacation. We spent the week fishing, puttering around town, visiting the zoo and horseback riding! It was so enjoyable watching Abby have so much fun. I feel like she grew up so much this week! Check out a few of the highlights.

As soon as we got to the house, she and I went down to the water to check things out. Don't you love the view off the end of the dock?




Here she is on her first-ever pony ride. She had so much fun! Wayne and I just walked her around a little 5 minute trail ride, and she kept asking for "more ponies" once she got off.


Since she had so much fun on the pony ride, we decided to give a real horseback ride a shot. Here she is in her little helmet.

She and I went on a 45 minute ride, and she LOVED it!She caught a bunch of fish on her first trip out...she loved showing them off.

On our last full day at the lake house, we went for one final fishing trip. Can you tell she has a great time on the boat?
And look what I caught! Its a 31 inch Northern Pike! That was FUN!

My sister is 36 weeks pregnant with twins. A few weeks ago A and I took a ride down to visit Auntie and take a few bump shots. We think she looks fantastic!
